Crock Pot Bone Broth Recipe

1 organic chick
3-4 chicken feet (optional)
2 carrots, coarsely chopped.
2 stalks of celery, coarsely chopped.
1 small onion, coarsely chopped (can be left unpeeled).
2 large garlic cloves (can be left whole without peel)
3 sprigs of thyme
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar.
1 bunch of parsley, coarsely chopped.
Filter water, enough to cover chicken and vegetables


1 Place the chicken (and optional chicken feet) in a large (6 quart) crock pot. (If you only have a smaller crock pot, you can use chicken pieces or just cooked chicken bones.) Add the carrots, celery, onion, garlic, thyme, and apple cider vinegar. Fill the crock pot with enough water to cover the chicken and vegetables; leave an inch or two of space at the top so the sauce doesn’t overflow.
