Bold Hair Color Trends Forecasting for 2020

It’s the 20’s again. But instead of putting on our flashy outfits and sneaking into speakakeasies, let’s go for some daring hairstyles, Burbank hairdresser and color expert, Danielle Badger in her predictions for the top hair color must-haves for 2020 and shares some helpful tips on how to best care for colorful hair.
blonde hair color
While it’s easy for me to think of purple or orange hair as truly “bold,” sometimes embracing natural hair color is a way to be bold. Danielle says she sees 2020 as “the year of nature” and touts blonde perms as a forever fashion (not to mention, the most affordable option). Bottom line? Even if you are not a natural blonde, you can still benefit from this look……. And you don’t have to break your bank account to do so.
purple (color)
Purple has been at the top of the list since the bright electric hair color became popular a few years ago. Whether you want a darker shade of purple or some lilac in a lighter shade of hair, you can’t go wrong. Danielle says that if you want to embrace the natural blonde tones, then you can easily make a DIY purple conditioner in blonde hair (Overtone or Keracolor are great options!). .
Plus, if you want to visit Danielle at her Salon Republic space in Burbank, she’ll bold your look with Guy Tang’s MyDentity.” MyDentity does a great job of controlling the shades of color, and the effect lasts!” Danielle said.” I can’t use any other colors!” She has used MyDentity on my hair before and I can attest that it is truly spectacular.
dip one’s hair in dye
Demi Lovato recently rocked the end of dip dye on Instagram, and we loved watching! Doing a bright dip dye is an easy way to show off wild hair without committing your entire head to the look. Danielle recommends using a surface hair shampoo and conditioner to keep your dip dye in tact.” “Surface is an all-natural, plant-based hair/skin care line that respects your health and the planet,” she explains.”” All ingredients are cold pressed or cold rolled or cold rolled. All the ingredients are cold pressed or fermented and created to give strength and life to the hair. All shampoos and conditioners are color protected.”
Who doesn’t love an all-natural shampoo and conditioner that protects your hair color and actually works? Please sign us up for one (or six) bottles!
Some of us are born GIGERS……. Others of us must bestow the title of Nicole Kidman upon ourselves. Yes, sometimes a red hair dye can make your bathroom look like a crime scene, but the end result is always vibrant and stunning. Also, who cares if you’re a natural redhead or not, dyeing your hair is all about the fun of it, right?Danielle recommends always washing your dyed hair with cold water to make the color last longer. She also said to figure out what the water is like in your city or town, and if it’s hard, get a water softener to make sure it won’t have a bad effect on your new look.
As a child, I would watch my grandmother dye her hair white every few weeks. Right now, we’re all cringing at the thought of being the grandma, grandpa, grandparents of our dreams! If only my grandma could see this trend.
So, what are you waiting for? Be the silver fox of your dreams……… Just be careful with shampoos and conditioners that add parabens and plastics. While they’re bad for your health, Danielle specifically warns us that they can “clog your pores and make your hair lose color.” Who would?
